I Hate Wireless Earbuds

Explanation of my disdain.

I have nothing against things that are wireless.

As someone who grew up with landline phones and a spiral cord that could only stretch so far, I welcomed that first cordless phone we bought for the house.

I hate having so many wires connected at my desk for my laptop, phone, internet, lamp, and the coffee cup warmer I always forget I have after I’ve let my coffee go cold again.

I hate that I have a box of cords I’m unwilling to throw out. Does anyone really need this many ethernet cables?

Needless to say, less wires equals a happier me.

I own a pair of wireless headphones myself.

It’s the over the ears noise cancelling type.

It’s great for when I’m at home and trying to keep my focus or out for a walk and clearly want people to see I can’t hear them if they try talking to me.

This is why I like this type of headphone or the wired earbuds.

Despite being annoyed by cords, wired earbuds show that my ears are occupied.

However, with the wireless earbuds, which seem to get smaller and unnoticeable year after year, you cannot tell whether or not someone is wearing them.
